Sergey Glushkov

Sergey Glushkov was born in 1969 in Sakhalin. Graduated from the Department of Arts and Graphics, Moscow State Pedagogical University. A member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 2000.

Awards and citations

From 1999 through 2000, took part in ornamental painting of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. Awarded a citation from the Russian Academy of Arts.

In 2003, was awarded a commemorative medal and diploma of Italian-Russian Foundation of St.Nicholas the Wonderworker for the best decoration project for the St.Nicholas basilica undercroft in Bari, Italy.

In 2006, painted "Hospital of the Holy Hierarch Alexis, the Metropolitan of Moscow" for Patriarch Alexy II.

In 2011, received a letter of thanks from V.V.Semikin, Deputy Director of the Directorate for Operation of the Federation Council Buildings, for the Beloved City Exhibition held at the building of the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

In 2011, was awarded a diploma of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Socio-Cultural Initiatives Foundation for participation in the Traveling Academy of Arts and creative achievements.
